For 3 years now, the Institute of Classical Architecture has recognized outstanding work in classical architecture with the Addison Mizner Medal. For 2014, two of the firms that were honored were Richard Skinner and Associates, as well as Smiros and Smiros, both for projects that were fenestrated by MQ Windows. We would like to salute their magnificient work and we are very proud to have had the opportunity to work on these wonderful projects.

MQ recently finished the installations of these two beautiful windows for the facade of a pub in Old-Montreal. Dozens of hours of machine programming were required to build the units as per the original window design while conforming to the highest levels of quality and performance the company imposes upon itself.

This is the largest construction site going on in the country. For mQ, it has been from the start our biggest R&D challenge ever. We are talking about 1600 units, pretty much all of different dimensions, with the craziest shapes possible et the most meticulous details. The work accomplished so far represents an incredible source of pride for the whole team.
